Marilyn Hulme was called to serve in the Oregon, Portland Spanish Speaking mission. She will spend much of her time in the Portland Temple Visitor's Center. Originally she wasn't leaving for the MTC until the end of October. The Mission President found out that she plays the harp. He requested that she get there early so that she can put on a harp recital for Christmas time. She ended up having about 9 days notice to get ready to go.
I spent lots of that last week with her. She had to get her wisdom teeth out. She had lots of clothes-shopping to do.
Her farewell was on Fast Sunday so she took the last 15 minutes of the meeting and bore her testimony.
