Grandma Shelley Came to visit!

At the end of the week spent with my mom and Lucy working on our advent calendar, Lance got back from his business trip, and we picked his mom up from the airport! She came for a  long weekend with us.   It was Great!  So fun to have Grandma at the house and for her to see where we live and spend time with Joanne.

On our way back to Hermiston we stopped by lots of really beautiful sites for mom to see. Don't judge the pictures of me in my pajamas and slippers. I forgot to bring shoes to Lucy's house and also forgot that we were going to hike a little of Multnomah falls! Oh dear, the looks people gave me!

Advent project

         So I have the best mom. In the world. No question! Here's the story.  Lucy and I saw the cutest advent calendar on pinterest that was way too expensive to actually buy.  But we thought we could maybe make it! So we skyped mom and asked if it was possible. She said yes. But of course she knew we couldn't do it by ourselves, so she came out and helped! Lance was gone for a week, so it was the perfect week for us all to go to Lucy's and work like mad! 

Mom was at the sewing machine literally the whole time. 

Lucy and I were doing the prep work for her to be able to sew. 

So we were cutting, pinning, ironing, and figuring things out. 

It took the WHOLE week to finish, but it turned out incredible! I don't know if you can tell, 

but there are all sorts of bags, stockings, envelopes, mittens, drums, and more with little numbers on them.  

And there we are! I think this is the first time that any of us got dressed that week!

These were the only ones at the time. Within a few months to be joined by little Cora!!

Thanksgiving

If you can't tell, Kim and Julie Puzey are basically our family in Hermiston.  We love them so much! They invite us to dinner every Sunday, and we have such a great time! So we also spent Thanksgiving with them! Thank you Puzeys for adopting us into your family! 

We got there a little early, and because their backyard is so beautiful, we took some pictures of us! 

I have never been more grateful for all I have than this Thanksgiving!  I am so blessed to have Lance and Joanne in my life!  Life is good!

3 months

This girl is growing up so fast!! I try to tell her to slow down, but she just isn't very obedient I guess! Good thing she just keeps getting cuter and cuter!

Troutdale

For Lance's job, he had to go to Portland (3 hours away) every week for a day! So he would often have to leave the night before so he could be there the next day.  I hated that he'd leave, and I would miss out on that much time with him - so a few times I went with him and visited my sister Lucy and her cute girls! We had lots of fun, and tried to do projects every time we were together!

I turned 25

I feel pretty old. I am 25 years old, and it blows my mind! Time has gone by so fast! 

For my birthday (and Christmas, and all my play money saved up haha) I got a windows tablet, and I love it! It's nice to have something light and mobile that I can use when nursing or traveling! 

It was a good day because Lance actually had a day off - which is so rare! He works so hard for us! So mostly, we stayed home and spent some quality time together as a family.  That night we went to a Thai restaurant that we like. (there isn't much restaurant choice in Hermiston, so we are glad they have Thai!)

Please note the amazing decor! This is a Thai place that still has the cow hide print booths from when there was a different restaurant there! 

On Sunday (my actual birthday) we had a fun dinner at the Puzeys! Dallin (the youngest Puzey) and I share a birthday, and we had a really yummy dinner! We LOVE being in Hermiston with the Puzeys, they are the best!! 

A dad and his girl

I love Lance. So much! When he became a dad - my love for him went through the roof! He is the best dad ever, and I am so lucky to be able to raise our little wonder with him! 

Clearly these all were taken at different times - seeing Lance's various lengths of beard.

She adores him so much, and I love to see them play!

It's not hard to be happy with these two in your life!
