Rachel and Luke Come

December 2015

My mom and Sister Clawson arranged to send me and Rachel bags of persimmons.  This was the greatest because not only did we get persimmons, it gave us a reason to hang out! We NEED to do this more! We had a great time. It's so fun to share parenting ideas and tips and see each other grow up.  It's weird to think that we have known each other since we can both remember. Love you Rachel!

It is so fun watching Joanne learn! I found flashcards that I am really into. Jody likes them too! We are loving them so far. They have shapes, colors, letters, numbers/counting, first words, phonics and more. I am obsessed!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

December 2015

It's so fun having kids during Christmas time! It becomes so much more magical! Mostly.
The second day the tree was up - it came down with Joanne's help.  A few of my ornaments broke. Sob. Off came the other ornaments that are breakable. I thought I had been so careful by putting the breakable ones at the top - but I didn't foresee the tree coming down.  Live and learn. 

Thank you to Marissa and Rebecca for making me this cute advent a few years ago! 

Jody loves it!  And it is totally hands on.  

This is the second time the tree was pulled down. 

I was pretty frustrated by this - but I still thought to get a picture! 

I'm really getting the hang of this blogging thing! haha

Brought Home the Bacon

Lance and Lynn got a pig! They were very excited. I really should have Lance write this post because I don't know much.  I know that it was FREEZING on their hunt - and that they had the greatest time! Thanks Lynn for going with Lance and making sure neither of you froze to death!

Post Thanksgiving in Millcreek

November 27-29, 2015

With his time off work, Lance and Lynn went pig hunting in the Arizona strip.  So while they were gone, the girls and I stayed in East Millcreek. It was a good time to be able to spend even more time with our family. It was also wonderful to have help with the girls! Much better than staying home alone for those days! We had such a great time!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with so much family! We spent most of the day with Lance's family, then headed to Ray and Diane Linford's house for a Linford family Thanksgiving. It is a wonderful blessing to spend time with family and fabulous to have so much family close by.

Lance Birthday Tucanos

November is our month of over-dosing on Tucanos. The only reason we ever go there is because of the birthday coupons - and they make it totally worth it! This time we invited along Uncle Lynn to join us in celebrating Lance's birthday! We had a great time!
